Office Manager
The Office Manager will manage the Administrative Assistant team and be responsible for day-to-day office operations, staffing, quality and productivity management. This is a hands-on position that requires strong people, project management, and technical skills for creating correspondence, reports, graphics and presentation materials using advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) in a quick, efficient, and accurate manner. Candidates must be able to work with clients and prospects over the phone to schedule meetings and travel, follow-up on correspondence and inquiries, and provide superior client support.
The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:

- Strong accountability orientation including ability to give clear direction and set clear expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and monitoring the work and activities of self and 3-4 direct reports
- Capacity to set priorities, establish schedules and deadlines for self as well as others
- Ability to organize, analyze, interpret and evaluate problems and provide support in critical decision-making
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and internal/external client requests
- Capacity to handle heavy document production with great attention to detail
- Expert in anticipating and researching information needed for meetings and appointments
- Ability to provide leadership, counsel, motivation and constructive feedback to staff, securing their commitment to the overall strategic goals of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field is preferred
Minimum requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years direct experience supervising administrative staff in a professional services environment
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Word processing skills at 65 wpm minimum with accuracy
- Professional appearance
- Stable work history
- Demonstrated phone skills
- Adept at establishing and maintaining a working environment conducive to positive morale, quality, creativity, and teamwork
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member
