Business Analyst

Business Analysts work with Principals and Consultants in project teams tasked to solve our clients’ varied and unique business challenges. Typical projects involve strategy development and implementation, marketing analysis/ portfolio analysis; identification of business development options; realignment/ redesign of core processes; and addressing challenges in marketing, sales, R&D, L&A, new product development, and other key functional areas.

Analysts participate in all phases of project implementation in a variety of ways - they may conduct interviews, research companies or industries, gather, analyze and interpret survey or other data, and contribute to project reports and presentations. They also contribute to internal projects such as marketing initiatives, which can involve research, writing for publication, and speaking.

Client-facing staff at NAI enjoy a level of work/life balance that is exceptional for the industry. Our practice model utilizes technology and in-depth client engagement to minimize our client-site presence, allowing staff to complete most project work from our St. Louis offices.

NAI focuses on large corporate clients, especially those in industries undergoing significant transition. Examples include (but are not limited to) pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services, health care delivery, and technology. We work to develop the range of skills that Analysts bring to bear through extensive mentoring, training and structured, supervised experience. Extensive exposure to Principals and more experienced staff in a team-based environment ensure continuous growth and development.

Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in a corporate environment and an advanced degree. Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills, project management, research, and writing skills are prerequisites. The successful candidate will be a self starter who can create structure and work independently, and also function well as part of a team.

If you’re interested in working in a stimulating, supportive environment helping industry leaders solve cutting-edge problems, we invite you to contact us.
